  Marcia Cross is an American actress with her net worth at thirty million dollars. Marcia Cross is best known for her role in the early days of her character, Dr. Kimberly Shaw on the Fox nighttime soap opera "Melrose Place" (1992-97) as well as for her part in the role of Bree Van de Kamp on the ABC comedy/drama show "Desperate Housewives" (2004-2012).Marcia Cross was born on the 25th of March of 1962 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The mother of her child, Janet, was a teacher and her father Mark, was a personal manager. The three of her daughters with the other two being Susan Ellen and Susan Ellen. She was raised in the context of a Catholic family by parents from Irish as well as English origin. Cross attended Marlborough High School which she was a part of school activities and even became the school's mascot for football matches, the Panther. In order to earn a little extra money, she worked part-time at Dunkin Donuts. She also was a part of the drama program at Marlborough High School. A high school trip in New York City to see plays and live the city's life was a catalyst for Cross to pursue acting as a profession. In the summer of 2007, she was accepted into a Tufts University drama program and was part of several productions at school, like "The witch of the"Blackbird Pond". Cross was always interested in the performing arts and performance. She took dancing lessons at Ceil Sharon School of Dance. Ceil Sharon School of Dance as an additional activity. She also learned how to play the piano.
